Plans and what's in each

The four plans, the limits that matter, and how to tell which you need.

The plan screen, comparing the four plans side by side with the limits and features of each.

Settings → Plan compares all four side by side, with your current one marked. The pricing page has the same table with the prices.

The limits that actually bite

Most people are not choosing on features, they are choosing on one of these:

Free Starter Pro Business
Agent seats 2 5 15 Unlimited
Websites 1 2 5 15
Chat history 30 days 1 year Kept Kept
File uploads 2 MB 10 MB 25 MB 25 MB

Conversations are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. There is no allowance to run out of and no per-chat fee, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

What each step actually buys

Free to Starter is mostly about the widget being yours: removing the Talkfront credit from the footer, departments, opening hours, saved replies, and a year of history instead of thirty days.

Starter to Pro is the developer and reporting step: the API and webhooks, roles, and advanced visitor information.

Pro to Business is the compliance step: single sign-on, the transparency log, unlimited seats and priority support.

Picking one

Count your seats and your websites first. Those two decide it more often than any feature does.

If you are not sure, start lower. Nothing you already have stops working when a plan changes: a workspace that drops to a plan allowing fewer websites keeps all of them, it just will not take another. Moving up is instant.

The trial

Every new workspace gets a fortnight of Pro, with no card. When it ends it drops to Free unless you add one. We do not delete your conversations for being on Free; you just see the last thirty days of them.

One thing the trial does not carry: removing the Talkfront credit from the widget footer. That footer is how most people find us, so it stays for the fortnight and comes off the day you subscribe to any paid plan. The setting is there throughout and remembers what you chose.
